Hello,
Welcome to Stretching Limits Rabbitry!
My name is Marie Antos & I have been raising English-lops
for 10 yrs now.
SL Rabbitry is a privately owned rabbitry located in Roseburg,
Oregon on the beautiful North Umpqua River.
Here at Stretching Limits Rabbitry we exclusively raise
English Lop Rabbits to ARBA show standards. We breed for overall balance(ears & body) and strive for quality,health &
temperament for show/herd and pet stock. Most of our lines consist of Abundant Ears Rabbitry owned by Courtney in Bend, OR.
Love her lines you can always count on getting good bone and size with the AE Line. We also have some great lines out of SKR
Rabbitry in Arlington, WA., SKR has very nice English Lops never got a bad E-lop from them. There is also a few other lines
tangled in such as Dara's, Trina's, Crawford's, some Nippers and recently in Oct/2008 we added new blood lines from Jenny
Tice of Looney Lops in Michigan I love her rabbits and look forward to working with the new lines.
To
me it is very important not to have to many rabbits, I prefer 25 or less, this insures that everybunny gets lots of love and
attention. Its also cheaper and easier to buy fruits and veggies for a small herd.
A
bit about me: English Lops were my 4-H project from 1990-1995, then taking a break from 1997-2003, and then hopping right
back into the rabbit habit in 2003. In May 2009 after being back into rabbits for 6 yrs, I made the decision to have a herd
reduction and take a little break. I have kept back my finest selection in stock to hold onto for pets for now...and also
for breeding having 2-4 litters a year.
We
have had some major wins in our showing days. Numerious Best of Breeds and even a few Best In Shows. At the 2008 Lop Nationals
in Monterey, CA we took home 3 first places and BOSB. Check out our Grand Champions.

I would also like to thank my sister Destini Harris for all her help. We do alot sharing
with our English Lops, we travel to all shows together and we share our rabbits for breedings, help each other clip nails, ect..
I am so glad that Destini is apart of Stretching Limits Rabbitry.
Since I am taking a break from the rabbits for a bit, Destini will continue showing and breeding her
stock of Stretching Limits rabbits and carrying our name. Destini will be showing in 4-H and in Open shows. All
of Destini's SL stock lives at her rabbit barn. I plan to help her all the way and hope to take her to a few shows. Between
the two of us we should have 2-4 litters a year.
